The Microtech Ultratech Gen IV OTF is the newest version of the knife that made Microtech famous. This one runs a 3.55″ tanto edge (T/E) blade in M390MK powder steel. M390MK holds an edge for a very long time. Plus, it shrugs off rust. It also wears Microtech’s signature Apocalyptic stonewash finish.
Microtech machines the handle from 6061-T6 aluminum in bright Orange. On top of that, you get an upgraded glass breaker on the tail.
Gen IV also adds the Dual-Fuel Drive Train™, so the blade fires and stows faster and stronger than before. Meanwhile, the Crud Kutter™ keeps pocket lint out of the action. At 3.61 ounces and 8.54″ overall, the Microtech Ultratech Gen IV OTF disappears in a pocket. Then one thumb snaps it to work.

Keep your blade clean and dry after each use, apply a light coat of oil to carbon steel blades to prevent rust, and store in a dry environment. Sharpen regularly with an appropriate stone or system to maintain a clean edge — never run blades through a dishwasher.
All C&S knives are backed by a quality guarantee against manufacturing defects. Returns and exchanges will be accepted within a set window from the delivery date, provided the item is unused and in original condition. Custom orders are generally non-returnable.
