Our gear is built to last, and we stand behind what we make.
What’s Covered
We warrant the products we make and brand ourselves. Every C&S warranty covers the same thing: defects in materials or workmanship, and failures that happen under normal use.
If something arrives damaged, or breaks when it shouldn’t, we’ll repair it, replace it, or make it right.
What changes from product to product is how long that cover runs. The warranty on any C&S product is stated on that product’s own page, and it is on your invoice. The bands are set out below.
Products made by other manufacturers carry that manufacturer’s warranty, not ours.
Our warranty applies to products bought from C&S Knifes from the opening of our store. If you bought from us before then — at a show, on Whatnot, or through a dealer — write to us with the details and we will look at it individually.
What’s Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect (such as prying, throwing, or using products for unintended purposes).
- Unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or repairs.
- Cosmetic wear (scratches, discoloration, or fading that comes with normal use).
- Loss or theft of the product.
Electronics & Flashlights
Because of the nature of electronic components, electronics are not covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. C&S branded electronics carry our One-Year Limited Warranty, running from your date of purchase.
Electronics built by another brand carry that manufacturer’s warranty, on their terms. The cover that applies to any particular item is stated on its product page.
Warranty Requirements
You must register to be covered. Your C&S warranty runs from the date you bought the product, and it takes effect when you register. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to register. Registering takes about a minute, you will see a confirmation on screen as soon as it is done, and a copy arrives by email. A product that has not been registered within 30 days of purchase will not be covered by a C&S Limited warranty.
If you bought from a dealer, at a gun show or as a gift, register it the same way — use the purchase date on the receipt or the card that came with it. If you are outside the 30 days and you have a good reason, write to us anyway and we will look at it.
This requirement applies to purchases made on or after 19 September 2026, and to our Limited Lifetime Warranty and our One-Year Limited Warranty. Anything bought before that date can be registered at any time, and our 90-day, 30-day and sold as-is items do not need registering.
Proof of purchase from C & S Knifes is required for all warranty claims.
Repairs or modifications made by unauthorized parties will void the warranty.

What we cover
C&S Knifes LLC warrants the products we make and brand ourselves. The level of cover is shown in the product details on each item’s own page, and it runs in bands:
- Limited Lifetime Warranty — our C&S knives. The warranty that applies to any individual knife is stated on that knife’s own product page.
- Three-Year Limited Warranty — our C&S automatic and OTF knives. The warranty that applies to any individual knife is stated on that knife’s own product page.
- One-Year Limited Warranty — our entry-tier C&S knives. The warranty that applies to any individual knife is stated on that knife’s own product page.
- 90 days — the 600D crossbody bag.
- 30 days — carry goods such as leather multitool sheaths, folding knife belt cases and canvas pouches.
- Sold as-is — consumables and soft goods including patches, cleaning cloths, fire starter sets and the knife maintenance kit. These carry no warranty.
- Kits — where a kit contains a knife, the knife carries its own warranty as shown on the product page. The maintenance items supplied with it are care products, not warranty items.
Products made by other brands
Most of what we stock is manufactured by someone else — Olight, Chaves, Bestech, Microtech, Dreamtech, Bear & Son, Vosteed and REMETTE among them. Those products are warranted by their manufacturer, not by C&S Knifes LLC. If something goes wrong with one of them, the claim is made to that manufacturer directly, under their own terms and timeframes.
We are glad to help you get there. We will supply your proof of purchase and point you to the right contact. We are not the warrantor for those products, and we cannot repair, replace or refund on a manufacturer’s behalf.
