Terms & Conditions for C&S KNIFES LLC (Texas)

1. Company Information

  • “cnsknifesllc.com” operates under the brand ‘C&S Knifes LLC.’ Both names refer to the same Texas-registered business. C&S Knifes LLC (“the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a Texas-based business providing knives, tools, and related accessories for lawful use.
  • By accessing or using our website, purchasing products, or interacting with our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from C&S KNIFES LLC. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement.
  • Where a state, county or municipality sets a higher minimum age for a particular product, that higher age applies to you. Kentucky, for example, requires purchasers of automatic knives to be 21 or older.
  • You must be legally permitted to purchase, own and receive the products you order at the address you are shipping to.
  • You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, county and municipal laws regarding the purchase, ownership, possession, carry and use of knives and tools. These laws differ from state to state and, in some cases, from city to city, and they change.
  • If you are unsure whether a product is lawful where you live, contact us before ordering.
  • We may refuse or cancel any order where we believe supplying it would breach the law. Where we cancel for that reason, we refund the order in full.

3. Product Use

  • Products sold by C&S KNIFES LLC are intended for lawful purposes such as outdoor activities, culinary use, craftsmanship, or collecting.
  • Customers agree not to misuse any product in a way that violates the law or endangers others.
  • Nothing in these Terms, and nothing on our website, should be taken as advice that a particular product is lawful for you to buy, own or carry. That determination is yours.

4. Orders & Payments

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Prices may change without notice.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including cases of suspected fraud or incorrect pricing.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the carrier accepts the package.
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
  • Some products cannot be shipped to every address — see section 6, Restricted Items. If you place an order we cannot lawfully ship to your address, we will contact you to arrange an alternative, or cancel and refund that part of the order.

6. Restricted Items and Shipping Limitations

  • Certain products we sell are subject to restrictions on where they may lawfully be sold or delivered. Automatic knives, including out-the-front (OTF) knives, are the principal example.
  • We do not ship automatic or OTF knives to California, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Washington or Washington D.C., to Chicago, or outside the United States. Our checkout will decline an order for these items to a restricted address.
  • Some states we do ship to attach conditions of their own. Illinois requires a valid FOID card. Kentucky and West Virginia set a minimum purchase age of 21 rather than 18. Colorado, North Dakota and Delaware limit blade length on carry, Hawaii and Virginia restrict how an automatic may be carried. Ordering confirms you meet whatever applies where you live.

  • This list reflects our understanding of the law at the time of publication and may change without notice. It addresses state-level restrictions only. City and county ordinances may impose further restrictions that we are not able to check, and it remains your responsibility to know the law that applies where you live.
  • At checkout you are required to confirm that you are 18 or older, that the items you are ordering are lawful for you to purchase, own and receive where you live, and that you accept responsibility for compliance with all applicable law. We record that confirmation against your order.

  • Returns may be accepted within a specified period if the item is unused and in original condition.
  • Custom or modified items may not be eligible for return.
  • Shipping costs for returns are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

8. Warranty

  • Unless otherwise stated, products are sold “as-is.”
  • Some items may include manufacturer warranties.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, C&S KNIFES LLC is not liable for:
    • Injuries or damages resulting from misuse of products
    • Losses caused by delays in shipping
    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Customers assume all responsibility for safe and lawful use of purchased items.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, C&S KNIFES LLC is not liable for any loss, damage, penalty, forfeiture or prosecution arising from a customer’s purchase, possession, carry or use of any product in breach of any law applicable to them.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All website content — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of C&S KNIFES LLC.

11.1 Custom Engraving Content

When you submit text, artwork, images, or logos for custom engraving, you represent and warrant that you own that content or have permission from its owner to reproduce it. Owning a product does not grant the right to reproduce its manufacturer’s logo, and team or brand logos generally require the owner’s permission. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless C&S KNIFES LLC, its owners, and employees from any claim, demand, damages, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the engraving of content you submitted, including claims of copyright or trademark infringement. We do not review submissions for legal clearance and may refuse any engraving request at our sole discretion. See our full Engraving Content Policy.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
  • Any disputes will be handled in Texas courts unless otherwise required by law.
