This 14C28N fixed blade with micarta scales is the simple tool in our line. There is no pivot, no lock, and nothing to fail. The Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel takes a razor edge and resists rust. Also, the micarta scales come in Brown or OD Green, so you can pick your look.
It rides in its sheath on a belt or in a pack. Then it handles the cutting a folder should not: food prep, kindling shavings, and field dressing. The full-tang build means you can work it hard. Micarta only gets better with use as well. It wears in and darkens with hand oils.
