The Falcon Linerlock A/O Tanto Dragon is a full-size assisted folder with decorated steel. It runs 5in closed with a 4in blade. Push the extended tang and the blade snaps open against the liner lock.
The blade is 440 stainless in a satin finish, ground to a tanto point. The tanto grind puts a thick section of steel behind the tip. As a result, it copes with piercing and scraping that would roll a finer point. 440 is also forgiving to sharpen and holds off rust well, which matters on a knife that may sit in a case between outings.
The Falcon Linerlock A/O Tanto Dragon carries dragon artwork on a stainless handle, with etched flower work running across the blade and bolster. A steel handle adds weight over aluminum, but it feels substantial and shrugs off knocks. There is a pocket clip fitted.
Wipe it dry after handling and oil the pivot occasionally. Fingerprints show on a satin finish, so a cloth is worth keeping nearby.
In short, this is a display piece you can still carry and use.
