The Mtech Linerlock A/O Blue is an assisted-opening folder. It is built for daily carry, not for the display case. Push the extended tang with your thumb. The 3.25in blade swings out and locks open in one motion.
The blade is 3Cr13MoV stainless with a satin finish. This steel is softer than the premium alloys. That is why it suits a knife like this. For a start, it takes an edge quickly. It also comes back sharp on a basic stone. In addition, it handles damp better than most carbon steels. So if you want a knife you can use hard and sharpen fast, this is a sensible trade.
The Mtech Linerlock A/O Blue has a handle in blue and silver aluminum. As a result, the knife stays light in the pocket. It will not swell or crack, unlike some natural handle materials. A pocket clip keeps it where you put it.
