A drop on each side of the pivot restores the smooth drop that made you buy the knife in the first place. Then Wicked Wax seals the blade against moisture and fingerprints, which matters most on carbon and Damascus steels. Finally, the C&S microfiber cloth wipes everything down without scratching the finish.
Because all five pieces live in the canvas pouch, the kit travels with you. Clip it to a belt or drop it in a pack. Consequently, the maintenance happens at camp or in the truck instead of waiting for a bench you never get to.
