The Falcon Linerlock A/O Tanto Samurai is a full-size assisted folder with a decorated blade. It measures 5in closed with a 4in blade, so this is one of the larger knives in the range. The extended tang opens it in one push.
The blade is 440 stainless in a satin finish, ground to a tanto point. A tanto carries a lot of steel right up to the tip. As a result, the point stands up to hard use far better than a slender one. 440 stainless is also easy to sharpen and shrugs off rust, which suits a knife that spends time on display.
The Falcon Linerlock A/O Tanto Samurai has a stainless handle with samurai artwork, and there is etched flower work across the blade and bolster. Steel handles carry more weight than aluminum but feel solid and take a knock without marking. A pocket clip is fitted.
Keep it dry and oil the pivot now and then. That is all the etched finish asks for.
