The Microtech Auto UTX-85 Gen IV is the full-size knife in the UTX line. It measures 4.63in closed and carries a 3in blade that the slider drives out of the end of the handle and draws back in again. This is the Gen IV revision.
The blade is Bohler M390MK in a tanto grind with an Apocalyptic finish. M390 is a powder metallurgy stainless chosen for edge retention: it holds a working edge through far more cutting than a budget steel will, and the high chromium content resists corrosion from pocket carry. The Apocalyptic finish is a tumbled, distressed treatment that wears in rather than scratching up.
The handle is OD green anodized aluminum with a pocket clip, a lanyard hole and a glass breaker at the pommel. Supplied boxed.

Keep your blade clean and dry after each use, apply a light coat of oil to carbon steel blades to prevent rust, and store in a dry environment. Sharpen regularly with an appropriate stone or system to maintain a clean edge — never run blades through a dishwasher.

Returns and exchanges will be accepted within a set window from the delivery date, provided the item is unused and in original condition. Custom orders are generally non-returnable.
