The Mtech Linerlock A/O Bronze sits between the little 2.25in models and the full-size folders. The blade is 2.75in, which is a useful middle ground. It is big enough for real work and still small enough to carry all day.
The blade is 3Cr13 stainless in a satin finish. This steel is soft by premium standards, and that is the trade you are making at this price. For a start, it sharpens in minutes on a basic stone. It also resists rust well. So it will not hold an edge like a super steel, but you can bring it back whenever you like.
The Mtech Linerlock A/O Bronze has a bronze aluminum handle. Aluminum keeps the weight down and the anodized colour holds up better than paint. You get two ways to open it, a thumb pull and an extended tang, plus a pocket clip.
Care is simple. Wipe it dry after wet work, and oil the pivot occasionally so the assist stays quick.
