The Olight Perun 3 headlamp in Midnight Blue keeps both hands free for the job. It is a right-angle light with white and red LEDs. Turbo pushes up to 3,000 lumens out to 160 meters. Then moonlight mode drops to 5 lumens and runs for about 20 days.
The red LEDs protect your night vision around camp as well. The 21700 battery recharges on Olight’s MCC3 magnetic cable, so topping up is a snap. Also, the aluminum body is rated IPX8 against water and drops. Clip it to the nylon headband or use it as a hand light.
