The Dreamtech Clip Point Neck Knife is a small fixed blade worn on a cord. It measures 5in overall with a 2in blade, so it sits flat against the chest and stays out of the way until you want it.
The blade is D2 tool steel with a stonewash finish. D2 holds an edge well for a knife at this price. The stonewash finish earns its place too. For a start, it hides scratches instead of showing every mark. It also cuts down glare. D2 is only semi-stainless though, so it wants wiping dry rather than being put away damp.
The Dreamtech Clip Point Neck Knife has a skeletonized handle, which means the steel is cut away to save weight. As a result, the whole thing hangs light enough that you forget it is there. It comes with a black Kydex sheath that clicks the knife into place and holds it firmly upside down.
Keep the blade dry and the sheath free of grit. Kydex is hard, and trapped dirt will scuff a finish over time.
In short, this is a light backup blade that goes unnoticed until you need it.
