The Dreamtech Clip Point Neck Knife Black is the darker version of the same little fixed blade. It is 5in overall with a 2in blade, carried on a cord under a shirt. Nothing here folds, so there is nothing to fail.
The blade is D2 tool steel in a black stonewash finish. The black finish does more than change the look. For a start, it takes the shine off completely, which suits a knife you would rather nobody noticed. It also gives the semi-stainless D2 a little extra help against moisture. Even so, wipe it dry after wet work rather than trusting the coating.
The Dreamtech Clip Point Neck Knife Black has a skeletonized handle, cut away to shed weight. As a result, it hangs comfortably enough to forget about. The supplied black Kydex sheath grips the blade tightly and holds it securely when worn upside down.
Dry the blade after use and keep grit out of the sheath. That is the whole maintenance routine.
In short, this is a discreet backup blade for anyone who wants one out of sight.
