The Mtech Grenade Neck Knife is a fixed blade you wear rather than pocket. It hangs in a molded sheath on a cord, so it sits flat under a shirt and comes out fast. The whole knife is 4.5in overall.
It is built from one piece of steel. That matters more than it sounds. A one-piece knife has no pivot, no lock and no moving parts. As a result, there is nothing to work loose, and nothing to fail when you lean on it. It is about as simple as a knife gets.
The Mtech Grenade Neck Knife takes its name from the handle, which is shaped and textured like a grenade body and carries American flag artwork. A finger ring gives you a positive grip and stops your hand sliding forward. There is a lanyard hole too.
Care is straightforward. Dry the blade after use and keep the sheath clean so grit does not scratch the finish.
